What Does ADA Provide to an Organization who Licenses the IDNT for Internal Use or Distribution?
ADA provides the following:
- An Excel file that includes the International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology (IDNT) with 15 character abbreviations for each term and descriptor.
- IT professionals use this to incorporate the terminology into the computer programming or software.
- The 15 character abbreviations for each term are useful to help clinicians more quickly find the term they need for their documentation.
- An International Dietetics and Nutrition Terminology (IDNT) Reference Manual. The number of manuals depends on the number of facilities included in an internal license or size of an external or distribution license.
- Automatic Excel file updates and new IDNT Reference Manuals as revisions to the IDNT occur.
