The Commission on Accreditation for Dietetics Education has established policies and procedures for application, review and maintenance of all levels of accreditation: candidacy, initial and continued accreditation.
    NEW 2009 ERAS Format
Applications for candidacy, initial and continued accreditation must address the Eligibility Requirements and Accreditation Standards in effect at the time each application is submitted. The 2008 ERAS became mandatory on March 1, 2009. The 2008 ERAS are available here in PDF format. You are free to use either the new 2009 ERAS format which includes easy-to-use labels and a table of contents or the original ERAS document format.

NEW Self-Study Templates for 2008 ERAS

The Self-Study Templates are Microsoft Word documents designed to assist programs that are writing self-study reports under CADE’s 2008 Eligibility Requirements and Accreditation Standards (ERAS).  Three documents are needed for each program type:  1) directions, 2) a self-study template document, and 3) matrix forms.  Use of the templates is voluntary.
